SetupandoperatemanualandCNCmachinetoolssuchaslathes,millingmachines,andgrinders.
Create,modify,andrepairtools,jigs,fixtures,dies,molds,orgauges.
Readandinterpretblueprints,technicaldrawings,andspecifications.
Performroutinemaintenanceonmachinetoolsandequipment.
Ensureadherencetosafetyregulationsandprotocols.
Collaboratewithengineeringanddesignteamstomeetprojectspecifications.
Maintainacleanandorganizedworkarea.
Qualifications:
Highschooldiplomaorequivalent.
CompletionofastateindenturedToolandDieapprenticeshiporequivalenton-the-jobexperience.
ProvenexperienceasaJourneymanToolmakerorinasimilarrole.
Proficiencywithhandandpowertools.
Strongmechanicalaptitudeandproblem-solvingskills.
Abilitytoreadandinterpretblueprintsandtechnicaldrawings.
