The Direct Materials Team Lead for Warsaw & Raynham will handle activities as they pertain to direct materials planning and will work with MRP planners to build a plan that enable site production plan success.
KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
MRP planning process capability and standardization
Develop, mentor, and guide team of raw material planners, optimizing overall group efficiency and business impact
Connects with production planning to ensure flawless flow of information and fully integrated approach to delivering goals & objectives– customer service, inventory, and cost
Partner with SOURCE to drive supplier performance and reliability improvement
Leads team to handle short & long-term constraints; partners with all customers to mitigate impact or brings up to central planning team to evaluate E2E impact
Identify risks and opportunities to the S&OP process; lead and champion S&OP forums as applicable
Develops and handles regional programs to deliver continuous improvement in key performance indicators
Communicate business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Ensure that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
Ensure personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedure
Qualifications
EDUCATION :
- A minimum of a University Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is, preferred in Supply Chain.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
REQUIRED SKILLS:
At least 5 years Supply Chain experience
Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP) or equivalent
Ability to develop, coach and lead a team of planners in the execution, strategies and realization of departmental and company goals
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS/ IBF)
People leadership
Ability to mentor & develop accountable, diverse and global leaders who inspire and motivate others
Ability to build positive relationships in order to lead teams across the business/ virtual teams where required
Ability to communicate clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms
Ability to drive & apply continuous process improvement tools to large and sophisticated projects
Demonstrates strong decision-making ability in a multiple scenario environment
OTHER:
- International and domestic travel up to 10%
