Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Technician, where you will engage in a variety of tasks ranging from receiving and processing crops to labeling and staging seeds for shipment. Your responsibilities will change seasonally, providing a diverse work experience throughout the year. From operating machinery and ensuring the cleanliness of equipment to handling inventory and preparing products for distribution, you will play a crucial role in our operations. No resume or interview is required to apply, and training for specific tasks like forklift operation will be provided.

Hard Skills

• Forklift operation (sitting type, with training provided)

• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs

• Capability to perform repetitive tasks

• Proficiency in using computers for inventory

• Ability to differentiate/see colors

Soft Skills

• Ability to stand and sit for long periods

• Capability to climb stairs

• Good communication skills in English

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Switz City, Indiana.

Work Environment

You will be working in an agricultural setting which can be dusty and involves exposure to common allergens like insects, insecticides, and plants. The role requires readiness to stand for extended 12-hour shifts, climb stairs, and lift up to 60 lbs. Shifts vary, including potential for 12-hour day shifts and a rotation schedule that includes weekend work.
