Pay-For-Performance:

Average Hourly Pay: $46.50

Our compensation structure is based on a pay-for-performance. Pay-for-performance means your pay is determined by how much of a product you produce or contribute to making.

Shift:

This position will be Monday - Friday on day shift.

Basic Job Functions:

The successful candidate will drive Nucors safety culture and be willing to take responsibility for self and others. Responsibilities will be focusing on team member development, directing, planning, organizing, and executing the daily and long-term work activities of the Maintenance team. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing guidance and support to the team in order to accomplish departmental goals while placing an emphasis on continuous improvement, teamwork, taking care of our customers, and responsible spending.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in mechanical or electrical field with 3 or more years of both industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance experience OR 5 or more years of both industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior leadership experience. Prior experience troubleshooting using technical schematics. Demonstrated experience with training teammates in technical skills and fostering teammate personal development. Must be willing to work overtime with or without notice, including weekends. Previous experience coordinating contractor and vendor services. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
