Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc. Emergency Preparedness Specialist (Hybrid) - PINKERTONR5226 in Princeton, Indiana

The Emergency Preparedness Specialist plays a critical role in developing and maintaining comprehensive emergency preparedness plans for the company. This position is responsible for revising and maintaining the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan, designing tabletop and functional exercises, and updating and creating policies to ensure team member safety and business continuity during emergencies. In addition, the Emergency Preparedness Specialist will support the development of emergency management business case submission and associated capital project tracking. This position will have a hybrid schedule (remote/client locations).

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans, including but not limited to, emergency response procedures, crisis management protocols, business continuity plans, and disaster recovery strategies.
  3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders across departments (e.g., facilities, IT, TMR) to ensure plans are aligned and effective.
  4. Develop and coordinate drills, exercises, and simulations to test the effectiveness of emergency response plans.
  5. Track and analyze data from incidents and exercises to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to emergency preparedness and corporate security.
  7. Prepare reports and presentations on emergency preparedness initiatives.
  8. Support the submission of Emergency Management Capital Expense project business case documentation, as needed.
  9. Work on special projects, as needed.
  10. Assist in the design and completion of tables, figures, and other graphics, as needed.
  11. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

High school diploma and three years of emergency preparedness planning, and security experience required. Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and developing emergency response plans.
