Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Noblesville, Indiana

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to work on all mechanical and electrical equipment inside our facility. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment to ensure as little downtime as possible. This role requires proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, as well as experience working through a Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance and glue machine repair (60% of the job)

  • Repair machine breakdowns

  • Conduct pneumatic repairs (cylinders, hoses, compressed air leaks)

  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues with conveyors

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues including HMI, wiring 110 and 220 power, drives, and PLCs (mostly Allen Bradley)

  • Fix rollers and cutting wheels

  • Perform pump repairs

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

  • Pump experience

  • Experience working through a PM schedule

  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance

  • Diagnosis and repair skills for 480v motors, pumps, valves, hydraulics, and schematics

  • Experience with robotics (universal/cobots)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience working with robotics/automation

  • Mechanical troubleshooting (replacing wheels, bearings, and belts)

  • Pneumatic troubleshooting

  • Electrical troubleshooting experience

  • Industrial glass processing experience

Work Environment

You will typically work about 40-45 hours per week, with the potential for overtime. Our facility is a large environment employing 70 employees, equipped with various machines such as conveyors, glass processing machines, sanders, grinders, and pneumatic tools. Safety is our number one concern, and we provide all necessary PPE to ensure a safe working environment. We are committed to continuously improving our safety guidelines to prevent workplace injuries.

This is a Direct Hire position based in Hamilton County, Indiana.
