Description:
Summary:
The main function of a human resources generalist is perform the administrative functions such as employee benefits recruiting and interviewing along with strategic planning and policy management. A typical human resources generalist is responsible for enhancing company productivity increasing performance and improving business results.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment's
Plan and conduct new hire orientation.
Support HR manager with gathering necessary documents and paperwork for refereeing disputes and administering disciplinary procedures.
Help prepare for weekly new hire orientations (organize, prepare folders, swag, etc.)
Help enter I9 for employees
Be able to assist employees with updating or entering direct deposit or banking information
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must Have
1+ year of HR experience or internship experience and Bachelor Degree
3+ years of HR experience and no degree
Microsoft office (Outlook, word, Excel) experience
