PNC Receiving & Inventory Coordinator - Tempus Technologies in Indianapolis, Indiana

This position is primarily based in a location within PNC’s footprint.

This position is responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments and the related paperwork are accurately processed in accordance with Tempus Technologies policies and standards.

This is an on-site position and will be based out of the Tempus Warehouse located in Auburn, IN.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all day-to-day receiving tasks are being successfully completed in a timely fashion.

• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.

• Receives inbound shipments and verify condition and accuracy of items shipped.

• Maintain shipping and receiving documents within the ERP system,

• When necessary, assist in the reconciliation of inventory variances related to receiving and shipping activities.

• Monitor ERP System for daily hardware shipments.

• Coordinates all pick-ups and deliveries with couriers.

• Ensure all packing and shipping supplies are kept in stock

• May be required to complete additional assignments as required.

• Backup to ensure all day-to-day shipping tasks are being successfully completed in a timely fashion.

• Backup for pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare hardware and other items for shipping.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience

o Must understand inventory and warehouse processes.

o Knowledge of ERP systems.

o Know of Excel spreadsheets.

o Ability to read and understand purchase and sales orders.

o Must have a good understand shipping and receiving processes.

o Pallet Jack or Forklift experience

• Skills

o Excel

o Detailed oriented.

o Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversite or direction.

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Description

  • Coordinates and supervises activities of a major mail distribution center or large reproduction services center.

  • Developing and maintaining print and mailroom procedures for efficient and cost-effective service. Managing and scheduling all copy and offset print production, both in-house and outsourced.

  • Establishing inventory policies and maintaining levels of all printed materials within established guidelines and budget.

  • Updating equipment, processes and services to meet the needs of the business. Reducing print and copy costs by directing business to the most efficient print vehicle.

  • Developing quality, low cost point-of-purchase for supplies and materials.
