We are in search of a skilled part-time Controller to join our team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is focused on overseeing the financial aspects of our property portfolio, assisting with land sales, and potential tenant financials. As a vital part of our team, you will be working on a part-time basis with the flexibility to work two to three days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing financials and setting up chart of accounts for 12 properties with 35 tenants

• Assisting with financials of land sales and potential tenants

• Providing a summary of financials to facilitate executive decision-making

• Modeling out financials for prospective business scenarios

• Working proficiently in Quickbooks Online for financial management

• Creating and managing spreadsheets and formulas in Microsoft Excel

• Making corrections on ledger adjustments as necessary

• Conducting analysis on numbers with independent thought

• Handling property accounting and preparing monthly financial statements

• Participating in financial planning and analysis (FP& A) processes

• Conducting financial presentations and property management tasks as required.

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position.

• Demonstrable expertise in Property Accounting is essential.

• Proficient in preparing and presenting Monthly Financial Statements.

• Familiarity with Quickbooks Online is a requirement.

• Experience in Land Sales and Property Management is highly desirable.

• Must have the ability to create and deliver Financial Presentations to stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Financial Modeling is a necessity.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience in managing a General Ledger is essential.

• Expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is a must.
