Huntington County Community Corrections Department has Openings for Part Time Pretrial Navigators
Successful candidates for these roles will be responsible for assisting the Pre-Trial team with monitoring offender compliance in programs or special conditions ordered by the court. The Pretrial Navigator will collaborate with various intercepts of the judicial system such as the jail, courts, community corrections, and probation to offer transition resource services to offenders, while also aiding these intercepts with crisis intervention, bond release, and initial detention.
Successful candidates will hold a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in case management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to efficiently process information and utilize problem-solving skills are required. In addition, time management skills are essential. Successful candidates must have the ability to make practical application of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures as well as work with a diverse group of people.
Pay is up to $20.16 per hour, DOQ/E. Individual must be flexible to work hours outside of business hours (8a-4:30p M-F) and possibly weekends.
