Huntington County Government Equipment Operator III / Foreman--Huntington County Highway Dept. in Huntington, Indiana
This position is responsible for performing road repair and maintenance, and overseeing operations crews.
Candidates must have a valid CDL class B drivers license. In addition, successful candidates must have working knowledge of and skill in operation of using a variety of trucks and equipment, with the ability to affix and properly use all attachments. Candidates must be available to service a 24-hour on call status, and respond to emergencies in a timely fashion. Successful candidates must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Pay range is up to $27.13 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Work hours are 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Candidate must be open to working extended hours, evenings, and weekends in response to emergencies from off-duty status as needed.
