Our client, a leading distribution company, is seeking a Reach Truck Operator to join their team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate loading and unloading of products within the distribution center. This is a contract-to-hire position for 1st and 2nd shift located in Plainfield, IN.

Job Title: Reach Truck Operator

Location: Plainfield, IN

Pay Range: $17.50 - $18.75 per hour

What's the Job?

• Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the WMS.

• Report discrepancies between the inventory count and shipping/receiving documents.

• Ensure every effort is made to load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedes damage.

• Locate and retrieve products as well as replenish picking locations.

• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.

• 1 year of relevant experience, required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.

• Experience with Order Pickers, Reach Trucks

• Ability to obtain a forklift certification.

• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
