Job Title: Detailer

Job Description

We perform the specification and engineering of these systems for our clients, across North America. Our Fort Wayne office supports production from 6 different manufacturing plants across the US and Mexico. As a Detailer, your primary role will be to convert customer drawings into simple plans using AutoCAD 2D. These plans will then be used to manufacture the product and deliver to the customer. This role involves approximately 50% usage of AutoCAD 2D to create detailed drawings, and the remaining 50% involves internal coordination and customer interaction for problem solving and project delivery. On a daily basis, you will be working on 5-6 projects at various stages of completion. We use a proprietary add-in within AutoCAD 2D, which will be taught to each individual.

Hard Skills

• Knowledge of structural loads and connections

• Ability to read and understand structural drawings

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
