Newell Brands CI Analyst in Fishers, Indiana
As a member of the Ball Plant Team, the Continuous Improvement Analyst will promote lean initiatives to improve processes, services, or products within the facility. CI Analyst will function as a change agent to improve current operations and inefficiencies to help meet financial goals.
Main Responsibilities:
Coordinate, lead, execute and track CI projects.
Ability to work both independently and as a team member to understand cost drivers and improvements to KPIs.
Develop and administer a master training plan for the facility to promote the advancement of a lean culture.
Promote and train associates in lean strategies, including work balance, standardize work, problem solving, level production, Kaizens, TPM and SMED
Function as a change agent by utilizing lean tools to implement cost improvement activities
Collect and analyze data on plant processes, procedures, and performance using lean manufacturing evaluation tools and make recommendations on improvement opportunities
Track, monitor and report regularly on project status, monitor improvement milestones to ensure on-time completion and sustainability of results.
Provide technical support to develop cost savings projects
Select, coach & train “champions” for Newell’s Performance, Engagement, Achievement, and Knowledge (PEAK) continuous improvement methodology.
Network with other Newell leaders to learn and share “Best Practices”
Assures compliance with Newell corporate governance, appropriate laws, and regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
4-year degree from an accredited college or university and / or equivalent experience
2yrs+ of plant operations experience, including day to day floor operations- preferred
2yrs+ in a roll of Continuous improvement- preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Projects.
Knowledge in data collection, data analysis and data visual presentations highly preferred
Skills & Abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks, is collaborative, and is hands-on.
Open-minded and able to learn from others
Excellent people skills, including written and verbal communication.
Ability to work with integrity and build trust
Previous experience leading, motivation and engaging teams.
