Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker will participate in warehouse operations and activities. Responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and eventually scanning/receiving orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role involves checking in parts, matching paperwork to packing slips, putting parts away, and pulling parts for jobs. A very basic knowledge and skill set is necessary to perform this job.
Responsibilities
Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing, marking, and storing goods in their designated location.
Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped.
Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition.
Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management.
Properly pack items to be shipped to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
Organize and sort items on shelving, bins.
Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed internally or shipped.
Keep a clean and safe work environment that optimizes space and sets a high standard for organization.
Accurately pick products and items to fill work orders.
Work overtime as needed based on management’s discretion.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and work primarily standing
1+ years of experience in warehouse/inventory (heavy product)
Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs
Basic math and communication skills required
Good organizational and time management skills
Decision making skills
Experience using shipping and receiving equipment such as banders, wrappers, and forklifts, certification is strongly preferred
Typing and record-keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and management regarding warehouse inventory
Customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standard
Inventory control experience

Work Environment
This is a small job shop facility that is non-climate controlled and can become hot during summer and cool during winter. The shop is fairly clean, though there are areas like the welding and powder coat/paint shops that may not be. By early 2019, the assembly shop will move to a different area on the property that will be isolated and completely climate-controlled. Shifts are 1st Shift M-F, 7:30 AM-4 PM with 1-2 Saturdays per month. Candidates should be prepared to work 50-55 hours/week and must be open to overtime (10-20 total OT hours/week).
