Aston Carter Buyer in Evansville, Indiana

This company is looking for a Buyer to join their supply chain team in Southwestern Indiana. This will be on site Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

Typical job duties in this role include:

Manage all PO's in ERP system (D365)

Communicate with Vendors (50-100 at a time) mainly via email but some phone calls too

MRP (Material Replenishment Planning)

Contract Administrator

PO Closures

Expedite all PO items that need to be

Vendor Set-up

Corporate Purchasing

Blanket PO Tracking

Order Confirmations

Invoice Issue Resolution

Must Have:

  • Ability to provide customers with top notch customer service

  • Experience working with purchase orders in a sales support, office manager, order coordinator, junior buyer, etc. type of role

  • Microsoft Excel experience (don't need pivot table/V look ups) need formulas

Willing to consider

  • Entry level grad (need to have business, supply chain, Accounting or sales related degree) or if not a degree in that an internship working in supply chain, sales, or finance/accounting.
