ManpowerGroup CNC Machine Operator in Columbus, Indiana

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking Machine Operators with 3 plus years of manufacturing experience to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have previous machine operation experience,?attention to detail, be a quick learner, and have a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Machine Operator

Location: Columbus, Indiana

Pay Rate: $17 - $19.00 per hour

Shift: First, Second, and Third

What's the Job?

  • Operate and monitor machines and equipment to produce high-quality automotive parts

  • Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards

  • Package parts for shipment and label them correctly

  • Perform basic maintenance on machines and equipment

  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

What's needed?

  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience with machine/press experience. CNC machines, lathes, and mills (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Haas) experience desired.

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and repetitive motions on a daily basis

  • Basic math skills of adding, subtraction, division, and multiplication

  • Basic computer skills to print labels and open programs

  • First year: Up to 40 hours of vacation, depending on your hire date.

  • Following years:

  • 1st January: 80 hours

  • 5th January: 120 hours

  • 15th January: 160 hours

  • 20th January: 184 hours

  • 25th January: 200 hours
