Overview

Responsible for following work instructions to ready tooling for the extrusion lines, Compounding Department, Injection Department, and the Tool Room. Monitoring of schedule and priorities in order to prepare and deliver tooling to the appropriate area in time for the next change over. Responsible for tooling control in Extrusion.

Responsibilities

  • Aids and assists to the operation of production while adhering to all company standards and practices
  • Required to perform tasks such as setting up, cleaning and delivering tooling to production lines or designated drop-off areas, and entering basic data into computer
  • Will be cross trained on production equipment to assist in production efficiency
  • Maintains a work environment and workstation consistent with stated standards
  • Adheres to applicable 6S standards
  • Duties include organizing, removing un-needed items, cleaning, and sustaining assigned work areas
  • Maintains Tooling Control
  • Duties include cleaning, putting away and organizing tooling, and issuing work orders as needed

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required

Technical School certifications and/or college level technical degree is preferred

Basic experience using Microsoft Office is required
