The Harrison Steel Castings Company seeks a full-time
Cost Manager based in
Attica, IN. The Cost Manager is responsible for supervising our managerial cost accounting systems designed to accurately measure costs associated with the production of steel castings and supporting services.
This position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, or related field and two years of experience working as a Cost Analyst. Must also have 12 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) implementing pricing policies, including tracking and analysis; (2) overseeing continuous improvement, both customer and internal projects (by using Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other proven problem solving methodologies); (3) capital expenditure evaluation and cost-benefit analysis to support make vs. buy decisions, using payback, NPV, and other tools to aid in decision making; (4) utilizing cost accounting systems to accurately measure costs associated with the production of steel castings and supporting services; and (5) working with Microsoft PowerPoint as well as using statistical software, including Minitab and Excel.
